Workshop
International Workshop on Modeling of Thin-Film Silicon Solar Cells
February 7. - 8. 2012 at NEXT ENERGY
Solar cells have long since been mass-produced. But further research is still essential in order to optimize the production costs and the use of natural resources. The thin-film technology is an alternative to conventional wafer solar cells with respect to both - material usage and costs. Therefore, NEXT ENERGY has focused its photovoltaic research program on this technology.
To support the international knowledge exchange in this area, NEXT ENERGY invites you to join the experts workshop „Modeling of Thin-Film Silicon Solar Cells“, held on February 7. - 8., 2012. At the workshop, held in English, we want to discuss knowledge and exchange experiences about modeling of thin-film solar cells. Several European referees will present lectures about their current research activities in optical and electrical simulation. Simulation tools will be presented and future modeling trends will be contemplated. Furthermore, all participants are invited to present their research results at the accompanying poster session.
